Friday night is here once more
old Jon is ready to hit the town
a good walk in to set him right
meeting everyone in The Crown
live music and a round of drinks
which sets the tone for the night
moving on to The beer Keller
head Banging ! God that feels so right!
working out all your bands requests
nine Inch Nails,Pantara and more
chatting, laughing, enjoying the music
as the evening hots up, you hit the floor
as 4 am approaches fast
you know it`s time to head back
hoarse voice and shattered, but happy
climbing those stairs and hit the sack !!
I was challenged to write a poem about Jon`s Friday nights out with his mates, I really enjoyed writing this one and I know Jon liked it too !!
