Roses symbolize such passion
This precious gift we hold so dear
Soft velvety petals like skin
Makes me want to keep you so near
Over time it begins to open
This rose comes into it`s glory
Releasing it`s luscious sweet scent
Infusing us in our story
Securely protected by thorns
These flowers are as safe as you
I would defend you to the end
To be happy our whole life through
Even after this rose has gone
It`s image is there in the heart
To remind you of your true love
So that you`ll never be apart
Sweet roses are flowers of love
Bright luscious velvety red
Sweet scented and soft petaled
Ruling both your heart and head
With Valentines Days draws nearer, emotions are running high
