Gentle Guidance

Two sets of foot prints
where there was only one
a loving hand in mine
support where there was none

A gentle heart I see
kindness in your eyes
knowing that I`ll be safe
releasing my pent up cries

A firm but kind word
chatting on a boulder
your reassuring voice
a loving arm on my shoulder

Showing me the way
I know I can go on
Turning to say thank you
I find that you have gone....
