Personal Letter

I wrote you a letter today
not an email or text or tweet
put pen to paper just to say
you make my life so complete

It was a heart felt letter
that I thought you`d like to read
pen and paper is much better
I'm so glad I did succeed

Stuck a stamp on the envelope
and walked down the road to post it
with my heart is so full of hope
such a pleasure to write, I admit...


to receive a hand written letter brings so much joy to the heart,
that someone has bothered to put pen to paper, is awesome!!
