Glistening after the storm
drenched with rain drops
like tears from the clouds
sparkling in the sun light
still standing tall and straight
sensually beautiful
with its rich contours
and luscious textures
this sweet red poppy
soft and smooth looking
perky after its watery bath
happily bobbing in the breeze
