Pieces of Memories

Broken fragments in my palm

remnants held in plain sight

shattered memories from the past

pieces shimmering in this light

like an unfinished puzzle
my past so treasured

held in high esteem

each emotion measured

the future is uncertain
will there be a missing part
that will haunt me til I die
only if they break my heart!
