Pheasant Shoot

Chasing country pursuits
a brace of pheasants needed, my lad
shotgun and cartridges at the ready
there's plenty for all to be had

quarry is spied by the beaters
the thrill of the hunt is now on
this pheasant has a different idea
can't fire when its sat on your gun

damned if you're going to be beaten
by this roguish feathered fiend
this cheeky little blighter here
I'll get him good in the end !!
