18 Years on 

Each day I give thanks that I knew you

I loved you with all my heart and soul

sweet memories of our time together

you`ve left such a gigantic hole

your cheeky laugh always brought a smile

and sheer zest for things you loved in life

family time was important to you

and a great honour to be your wife

our journey took a terrible turn

cancer came a knocking at our gate

followed quickly by angels with wings

missing you Steve,  my love and soulmate

though you aren`t physically here with me

you`ll always walk with me,  by my side

so, as we remember you on this day

I`m filled with memories and great pride
