Silence, tranquillity

reverence, humility

beauty is everywhere

for us all to share

colours and textures

fragrance and pictures

red, green and yellow

family, fun and meadow

blue, purple and cream

frogs by the stream

children`s activity

ball games and poetry

warm sun of our faces

as we rest in these places

laughter and smiles are sighted

as families are united

sharing their stories

creating new memories

Tender Moment

Stood in the rain sharing a brolly

huddled up close together

winds howling all around us

through wet and horrid weather

Looking up into your eyes

I spy a very cheeky grin

as drops of rain run down your face   

then drip off your handsome chin

So let us just forget this brolly

wrap ourselves in each others arms

I know we`ll be alright here

for you can woo me with your charms

This storm`s soaking us completely

as we kiss under the lamp light

a tender moment just for us

standing there well into the night

moments together create memories and strengthen the bonds

Cupcakes and Tea!

British summer time is here

let's have cupcakes and tea

sat out in my garden

peaceful tranquillity

freshly brewed tea in china

full plates of tasty delights

they're almost too good to eat

so we'll in small nibble Bites

succulent creations

scrumptiously delicious

artistically decorated

fulfilling all my wishes

great swirls of sweet icing

moist over each base pipped

one for this treasured treat

teatime in my special place

indulge in the passion

soak up the love of life

discover new treasures

wherever they may be

delve deep, seek far

and you will find

don`t bury your head

in the cold wet sand

open your eyes and see

what the world has to offer

never say never

always be true to yourself

honesty and kindness

makes a true person

smile and the world smiles with you

if your fall, get up,stand tall

there`s always tomorrow

to start over again

have a humble heart

and know you`ll never walk alone!

Tiny Seedling

Tiny petals peep through the soil

slowly opening up to the sun

stretching out for all to see

showing off to everyone

their perfume scent so delicate

caught in the summer breeze
wafting around so gently

nestled there under the trees

night time begins to take a hold

there`s a chill in the air

as their petals start to close 

a stillness found everywhere
