Master of all he surveys
majestic in his manner
tall against the horizon
king of the savannah
proud of his mighty tusks
he stands high above the rest
ruling his kingdom with pride
he knows his life`s been blest

Ocean Partner.....
Strolling slowly along the sands
hearing the low swoosh of the sea
rhythmically ebbing and flowing
just slows my heart and sets me free
feeling lifted by the gentle sounds
softly lulled into a trance
as the sea tickles my bare feet
the ocean, myself and our dance
for the waters move to and fro
as we skip along the damp sand
as we dance the waltz hand in hand
together with the sparkling stars
I know this ocean is special
for this moment we share is ours
Having spent special moments with my husband, just before and after his death, walking along the beaches of the south coast of England, I found that I could feel free and relaxed, knowing he was with me. These moments are very special and up lifting too. Miss you Steve xx

Love your laughter when we play

First Love
The blush of true love blossoms
as eyes meet for the first time
wondering where this could lead them
for love has no reason or rhyme
a touch, a kiss, a cuddle
knowing they want to be together
Whispered nothings in their ears
they`d love each other for ever
planning a secret meeting
so their love can be explored
a tender stroke, a gesture
if mum knew, she`d be appalled!!
but their love could not be stopped
as they had to see it through
both had to be together
for their love, they knew, was true.
That first love is so exciting, mysterious and there is such a desire. We have all been through is or will go through it some time in our lives.

Our Holiday!!
Paper thin walls that hide nothing
narrow corridors with no windows
never enough storage or drawers
small beds with tiny flat pillows
al the shoes stored by the door way
fridge crammed full of all that`s needed
towels and swim things draped everywhere
normal rules need not be heeded
our car`s parked on a patch nearby
the play area`s across the site
a plot of grass outside our door
for our blanket, it fits just right!
no matter what the weather does
we will explore, visit and roam
having a great time on holiday
so for this week, this is our home !!
