I really wanted to call you up today

and thank you for the love you`ve given

then realised you`ve changed your number

for now you reside above in Heaven

missing your gentle tones of kindness

the way you were always there for me

guiding me through the paths of life

showing me the ways I couldn't see

mother`s are special, I see that now

keeping the family altogether

so glad I had you to teach me it all

life`s lessons I`ll treasure forever

so wishing you all the best today

on your 61st wedding anniversary

sending you love on the angel`s feather

enjoy your time in tranquillity !
