      Dreams......

     As the moon shines brightly down
     upon this sleepy landscape tonight
     I lay my head upon my pillow
     close my eyes and think of you
     wishing you`d visit me within my dreams.......

Bitterness

to speak to me with forked tongue
spitting venom across my soul
stabbed through this beating heart
for all this hatred takes its toll

with sheer anger in your eyes
what shone within, there's now darkness
joy has been harshly torn away
an empty shell oh so heartless

no love found within your soul
only bitterness seems to stay
silence where once was laughter
it has all but drained away

Gratitude 

There is so much to be grateful for in this world, so it saddens me to see such hatred and discord to be found, especially where there should be love.
Don't hold anger deep inside you, as it will only eat away at your soul. Start each day with a clean slate and finish it with a hug.....!



Don't stress about yesterday
as it wasn't bothered
never stress about tomorrow
as it will still arrive
never stress about the here and now
it won't change the fact it's here..!

Red Poppy

Remembering each life
Engraved on our hearts
Destined for glory

Poppy fields all ablaze
Our Soldiers fought for freedom
Peace was won so valiantly
Proud of each and every one
Year on year, we remember them.
