Hot Chocolate and Cats


      Curled up on my sofa
      a bundle of fur breathing steadily
      as she sleeps deeply on my lap
      head buried under her paw, enjoying her dream
      while I chill with my mug of hot chocolate..!
      best way to end a day of painting pictures from my heart.

As I lay my pen down for today
after the ink has ceased to flow
recalling the words I use to paint
the pictures from deep within my soul
leaving me feeling so peaceful from my writings...!

Our Friendship.

Friendships are so important
they're there to help us through life
a shoulder to cry on in need
when happiness turns to strife

our inner secrets to share
a laugh, a giggle or a scream
it doesn't matter as they're always there
for we really make quite a team

the daft things we get up to
can be hard to believe
all the teasing and we pull
another trick up our sleeve

all those outingss that we go on
never knowing where it will end
off to local shopping centre
we tell everyone, we won't spend !

may there be many more adventures
visiting great places then coffee and a rest
we know what each other is thinking
our friendship is just the best !!
