colourful, shiny and bright

all hidden for you to find

tucked away out of sight

so off you go and hunt them

see how many you can see

collect them in a basket

then share them carefully !

There`s sadness in my heart today
a strong yearning to set it free
so let the ink in my pen flow
dance across the crisp white sheet
easing the pain from deep within

Good Night.

with the setting sun
lengthening black shadows grow
then darkness engulfs

No strength to cope

This is why I don`t cope
your relationship impacts on me
no respite from your input
hear your voice where ever I go

wish I had the strength to argue
or to stand up for myself
but all I do is sunk away
hide from you and weep

wish I could change this
hope you would understand
I feel powerless to continue
not gaining anything, losing ground !

Good Night, Sweet Dreams....

As the stars come out to shine
twinkling brightly through the night
I wearily climb the stairs to bed
snuggle down and turn out the light

though my body is tired right now
my mind is active and bright
hoping my dreams will inspire me
so I`ll wish you all a Good Night...!

Alone

In a house full of people
yet sat here all alone
hearing voices far off
yes I`m really on my own

each person secreted 
in their preferred space
cocooned in their world
without much of a trace

so I`ll sit here and wait 
until they remember me
there a soul down here alone
needing a nice hot cup of tea !!

Remembering


As I lay down to sleep
close my eyes on the world
I start to dream of you
up there on your heavenly cloud
remembering the times we had
all the things we did together
to walk hand in hand with you
your smile, to hear you laugh again
to run free through fields of grass
hold you, feel your arms around me
but I know this is just a dream
as I toss and turn in my bed alone
I have to carry on without you
however, I know you are watching
from your cloud, with the angels.
sun rise and I leave my dreams
to continue my life again........
