Tiger, Tiger !

each stripe is different

every coat, unique

awesome camouflage 

at nature`s boutique

moving through jungle

in silent stealth mode

seeking his next meal

as his bright eyes glowed

hardly visible

to the naked eye

this tiger`s walking

confident and sly

our majestic kings
endangered creatures

it`s for us to help
one of earth's treasures

oh tiger tiger

this is now your hour

our symbol of freedom
such beauty and power

There is a need to save these wonderful creatures

Mum's Taxi

It`s really quite amazing

How my life can twist and turn

One moment I`m sat at home

Then I`m off to drive and learn

Collecting friends from the station

Drive to Lacock in the sun

Or a shopping trip with my friends

Nor forgetting the school run

So remember what the sign says

The one in my car window

"Mum`s Taxi", so I`m the best

I`m here through rain, sun or snow!

Mum`s Taxi is a great occupation and I love it!

 Emotional Pen...!

Weariness has engulfed my pen
through the many emotions of this day
now the need to rest is so strong
for passion has flowed just like ink
swirling and dancing across the pages of time...!

Revealed 

Through the mists of time
shrouded from vision
objects seem strange
slowly they`re revealed
grey structures forming
as we move forward
stronger shapes appear
things become more solid
from out of the fog
lamps and barricades
emerging into view
towering over us
followed by cold steel
dark and foreboding
this great structure
a gate way across
the unseen waters
with a lone figure
cycles on past
in front of the bridge
such architecture
invites you to use
so through the fog
the river is crossed
to new horizons
never miss a chance
to explore the future ....!

Silence is golden

Or so they say

But I see silence

In a silver way

Silence is peaceful

Shining bright

Refreshingly good

Sparkling with light

Muffling the sounds

All around

So you`re left in peace

Harmony is found

Floating on air

Wondering

Whether this will last

I`m still pondering.

Garden Guardian.

I`m watching you from my vantage point
camouflaged with leaves on head
whiskers like spider's webs against the wood
and a stare that could stop you dead

like a statue I'm hidden from sight
on territorial patrol duty 
silently I wait ready to pounce
I may be on guard but I'm still a beauty!

Caught in Moonlight

Across the darkened woodland
shafts of moonlight hit the ground
pools of light along the path
beauty seen without a sound !

delicate details of leaves
picked out clearly against black
as hues of wonderous blues
eerily seen further down the track

Pink Mist

Floating silently over pink mist
shimmering the last sun light
full of mystery and intrique
an eerie moon, shining !

perfect orb above this earth
caught in the evening hues
bidding farewell to the sun
creating exciting views !

a sweet bright summer's moon
continuing along its pathway
as darkness engulfs this scene
night slowly takes over from day
