Suicide 

Once I was young and strong 
full of hope and high spirit
then, through no fault of my own
then, my life took a plummet

feeling lost and very much along
I couldn't see any way out
no family or friends to turn too
filling my heart with pain and doubt

having made my own decision 
there's nothing more for my to do
but be steady and complete the deed
for I`m ready to see this through

farewell to all who knew me once
it's time to lay down for eternal sleep
no more pain, sorry and loneliness
as I slip in the death's pool so deep!

Steel Dinosaurs

Seen against a sunset back drop
standing tall above the harbour
dinosaurs from a bygone era
reflected in these rippling waters
cold hard steel dark against the sky
like robots working the cargoes
of the great tall wooden ships
that sailed the world's seven seas!
this industrial area
stands as a testimony to time
of health, wealth and prosperity
this place was once a mighty town

Cupcakes and Tea!

British summer time is here
let's have cupcakes and tea
sat out in my garden
peaceful tranquillity

freshly brewed tea in china
full plates of tasty delights
they're almost too good to eat
so we'll in small nibble Bites

succulent creations
scrumptiously delicious
artistically decorated
fulfilling all my wishes

great swirls of sweet icing
moist over each base pipped
one for this treasured treat
teatime in my special place

Morning Kiss

Deep in slumber

safe in your embrace

pleasant dreams

knowing we`re safe

laying entwined

snuggled together

as the sun peeps through

the gap in the shutter

birds are singing

as the sun comes up

morning is here.......

I feel a tender kiss

as I stir from sleep

soft as a feather

upon my cheek

is this a dream

should I wake up?

turning toward you

I feel your lips

searching for mine

a morning kiss

to greet the new day.....!

best way to wake up and start a new day.......!

  Oh to be in love.....

   Love is words that are silently spoken

   forming a bond that can never be broken

   

   a gentle touch, smiling eyes or a sweet kiss

   and warm loving cuddles feeling like bliss

   soft sweet nothings whispered in an ear

   suggestive messages for no other to hear

   oh to be in love is a wonderful state

   to know someone cares and thinks you`re great!

A Slow Death...

Am I such a bad person who thinks only for myself

don't I care for them each and every day

my family mean everything  to me

but it feels that they want to shove me away

I cry myself to sleep most nights

awake to the solitude of silence at dawn

praying that no bad news will come my way

sadly happiness is something I still mourn

why oh why do I continue to live this way

all of this is slowly eatting away at me soul

when will this pain stop attacking my heart

but I sadly fear I'll never again feel whole!
