Be True to Yourself

Indulge in the richness
soak up the love of life
discover new treasures
where ever they may be
delve deep and see
then you will find
don`t bury your head
in the cold wet sand
open your eyes and see
what the world has to offer
never say never
always be true to yourself
honesty and kindness
makes a true person
smile, and the world smiles too
if you hurt, don`t forget
there`s always someone
worse off than yourself
with humility to all
you will never walk alone..!

This Tender Moment

A tender moment
a sweet scented aura
silent tranquility
with petals so soft
smooth cool pebbles
so dark and shiny
contrasting so well
with all that`s around

Restful pale colours
pleasant to the eyes
calming the heart beat
so lightly touching
this tender moment
caressing senses
smooths stones, soft petals
contrasting so well

Oceans of time 

Oceans eternal

ebbing and flowing

caressing the land

just like two lovers

through time immortal

these partners exist

entwined together

so passionately kissed

some times it`s fearsome

crashing against rocks

or a tender splash

where sea meets the land

through the sands of time

to the depths so deep

oceans eternal

to the ends of the world

Ode to Nature

Different shapes and colours
Make up the world around me
No matter how or where I look
It`s so beautiful to see

The flowers in the meadows
So colourful and bright
Swaying in the soft breeze
Make up a wonderful sight

The diversity of nature
That live with us on earth
Have a right to be respected
As they all have great worth

Nature has a way with things
This can be so unexpected
What I thought was derelict
Has beauty thats protected

The buildings all around me
The fabric of our lives
No matter where I live now
Our nature always survives

Our world is really lovely
Its real, not just in a book
So if you think it`s done for
Go out and take another look!


The sun is out and every thing is looking so alive and beautiful, we are so grateful to see all the diversity of nature all around and be able to see, touch, taste and smell it.  We are all so lucky.

What is beauty?

We all see it in different ways
it`s in the eye of the beholder
with trends setting the target
as they change through time
beauty can be only skin deep
it can hide an ugly heart
the cover gives us a glimpse
so open it up and look inside

A person`s personality
is a better judge of beauty
look with your heart and soul
not just your eyes and lust
never take beauty for granted
as all can be deceived
for in the end these will break you
thus finding it hard to trust again

Look at the eyes, not the false paint
they are the windows to the soul
open the pathway to the heart
let these show you the way to go
so remember that beauty can be evil
hurt you through to the very core
be strong and take a second look
beauty is innocence and charm
respectfulness and deep love.

Losing you......

My happy life was ripped open to the core

when you were taken suddenly, I fell to the floor

I felt lost, so alone, no reason to carry on

unanswered questions left, I was the dying swan

I pleaded with the angels to return you to me

but they wouldn't listen, just said that you were free 

its hard for the ones that are left down on earth

for we must continue living, without much mirth

I guess you are out of pain now, and that was why

you were given you own wings, and taught to fly

Beauty of nature

Red poppies in summer breeze
blue bells carpeting the ground
yellow and orange autumn leaves
white snow muffling every sound

Cool clear lakes surrounded by trees
bright speckled meadows sway in the air
rough rocky mountains high in the sky
barren dunes carrying hope on a prayer

Through depths of the mighty oceans
dark, unexplored, far from all reaches
crashing around rugged coast lands
or touching long sandy beaches

Such awesome beauty of nature
showing the diversity of all
for this planet is so unique
from the mighty to the very small!
