Passions of the Heart

Passion dwells within my heart

beating with every emotion

bursting forth to show much love

so wanting to give devotion

looking deep into your eyes

such beauty there to behold

they are windows to your soul
magical wonders to unfold

your laughter brings me joy

for each giggle sings a note

my heart feels so uplifted

causes a lump in my throat

when you smile, your face lights up

your aura shines so bright

looking straight into your eyes

I behold a wondrous sight

to hold you in my arms

feel the breeze ruffle your hair

right sun warming our faces

happiness everywhere   

Passion in the air, love in the heart.......happiness!!

Speed !

Gas pedal to the floor 
landscape racing by
rock and roll blaring
adrenaline`s high

the roar of the engine
wind blowing through hair
the thrill and the passion
for you just don`t dare !

All curled up and sleeping soundly
dreaming of treats and mice galore
slumber on `til the morning light
my sweet Bubbles, whom I adore !

Past through to the future

the crumpled remains
of our old past
heart felt letters written
poems drawn from our souls

creating memories
for us to hold on to
time keeps on ticking
showing us the future

new memories to forge
with this chains
linking us together
never to be broken

night follows day
season after season
not knowing what will be
stepping in to the unknown

torn paper from our past
discarded and remembered
tortured yet cherished
our past to the future...!

Caught in the Light

Caught in the light
the creature clings
to the sealed cork
intricate veins
seen so clearly
captured in time
life`s elixir
this keepers quest

Transformation
held in this glass
perched in rock
lite by the sun
from up on high
eternal youth
wanted by all
protected by one

Aura surrounds
this mystic scene
caught in between
the rock and sun
awesome moment
secured in time
the keeper poised
caught in the light

sleep well my love
close your tired eyes
dream of all the good times
until the sun does rise

rest your weary head
let your stress slip away
hold me in your heart
ready to start a new day

Love Stone Stack

Walking on the beach in summer
I'm thinking of you, my love
since the Angels came and took you
to be with them up above

I look for flat stones in the sand
ones shaped by the ocean
pale pinks and blues are best
smoothed by the water's motion

then looking for a quiet spot
to share our memories
I place one on top another
to the sea`s melodies

each stone representing a year
that we spent together
every summer I make this stack
to hold your love for ever
