Calmness

The feeling of calmness
washes over this raging sea
cooling down the anger
that dwell deep within me

slowly the colours that I see
change from fiery reds to green
blues and creams follow on
a gentler ocean can be seen

sunshine breaks through the clouds
an air of peace felt all around
stormy weather has passed on by
a soft stillness calms abound

song birds heard over head
along with the oceans flow
watery motions mesmerize
as the tides come and go

let this calmness wash over
cooling all stress and strain
you must live for the moment
let love and happiness reign
