Stillness of my dreams


Within this still and silent house
amongst all the memories of you
I sit here and ponder on what we had
knowing our love for each other was true

now all I have, I hold in my heart
that connection remains strong, I believe 
all the great times we had will stay with me
though the pain will lessen, I`ll always grieve

while I sleep,  gently hold me safe in your love
let me live our past til the morning light
wrap me tightly in your arms, protect me 
walk with me in my dreams, at least for tonight !
