Determination

These feelings of pain and abandonment
seem to be growing stronger and stronger
as everything around me crumbles
to be honest, I can`t take this much longer

for loneliness, I`m told, is solitude
though suffering this pain is not good
so needing to sort my life out now
this is something I know that I should

I will not take any more nonsence
please don`t call me a fool neither
though I`ve been down trodden for years
I`m committed to taking a breather

so shaking off all this doom and gloom
beginning to take stock of my world
I `ll not be trampled under foot again
now standing tall, as my banner`s unfurled
