5th of November..!


Guy Fawkes Night 
is a long held tradition 
bonfires and fireworks
jostle for a position 

Odd bits of wood
broken up and piled high
rockets and sparklers
ready to light up the sky 

everyone watching 
all the colourful trails
from flares to Catherine wheels
pinned on walls with nails

all wrapped up snug
against the bitter weather
toasting hot chestnuts
around the bonfire 
all
together..!
