Silent Soul!

Loneliness here

in a house full of souls

sat here on my own

evening after evening

listening to voices

from distant rooms

with a cat snoozing

so comfy on my lap

content in the silence

soft purrs in the twilight

as I gently stroke her fur

my only company tonight
