Cheeky Squirrels
a quick glimps of a fluffy tail
flickering amongst the trees
scurrying up and down trunks
scampering through the leaves
these sweet innocent creatures
are not all that they appear!
they`re mischievously cheeky
and trouble when they`re near
watching their playful romping
searching for their winter hoard
burying them yet forgeting where
there`s plenty of nuts to be stored
as nature dressss up for autumn
these checky squirrels do not care
for each day is filled with playtime
as they race around everywhere!
