star

upon

the top

of our tree

shining bright

a gift for our world, lighting up this merry 

Christmas season of cheer sparkling 

warmly with the many decorations

coloured tinsel, baubles, lights 

twinkling and shimmering 

bring great joy to the festivities

this little star beams out with great

joy, proclaiming good will people today

with soft white powdery snow softly falling

reflected all around

a sweet little star

dazzling bright

places high 

on our

tree
