Happiness.....

Happiness is not something that you depend,  it not what you see on the outside of yourself!  This feeling is felt from deep within,  your heart and soul.  Beauty from the inside that shines through to the world outside.

Happiness is an emotion that can be stimulated from outside influences as will as a feeling that`s felt throughout yourself.  A state of mind and yet an emotion that is felt.   

This can be from a kiss to an achievement.   A wonderous image to a contentment from a proud moment.  From a physical moment to an emotional state of mind.

For me,  happiness is better than taking tablets or potions from a doctor.  It has no nasty side effects and it`s benefit lasts longer.  Helping me to sleep better and putting a spring in my step !!  With happiness inside you, your aura is bright, healthy and vibrant, showing others that all is well.

So always look to your happiness that shines from within yourself and not what happens outside of you. 

Be a beacon of brightness and lighten up the world around you so that others can see your happiness and mirror that within themselves.

Urban Flight

Freedom on a skateboard

to fly through an urban land

ability to go anywhere you want

four wheels balanced to the hand!

jetting across old concrete

and reflected in city glass

the thrill of being speed junkies

the world a blur as you pass

with the breeze in your face

complete balance of man and board

with total control in motion

you feel like an urban lord !

It`s been such an emotional day
where my pen as expressed my sadness
as tears roll down my cheeks
memories flood across the page
for each day my ink will flow freely, writing my life story !

Remembering a loved one who`s been given their wings, can be an emotional experience. However keeping their memory aliveis the best way to hold them in our heart.

11 years ago today I lost my soulmate, my best friend, my wonderfully loving husband Steve. The father to my four talented children.

This is the poem I will lay on his grave later today with flowers.

Gifted White Feather

I found a white feather today

where you left it for me to see

you seem to know when I need help

thank you for sending it to me

our time together was cut short

the separation feels so long

but your love is locked in my heart

the memories remain so strong

the past will always be with me

like your little gift, the white feather

for all these are so important

therefore my sweet love I`ll treasure!

love to watch you sleep awhile

as a mother watches her child

peace and calm across your face

the steady rhythm of your breathing

as your mind drifts away

what dreams are you dreaming?

where is your peaceful haven?

the place you go to get away

as your body rests from its toils

I so wish that I could be

resting in your arms right now

safely wrapped up in slumber

as we both dream our dreams
