A Sad Plea

my soul is sad tonight
for though there 

are people here

I still feel so alone
abandoned 

to the wolves of sorrow

a heart felt plea for love
welling up from deep down inside me
not able to battle now
though there was once a will to fight
not seeing any reason
to take up my sword and charge
this enemy within me
that`s tunnelling to get outside
seeking some guidance
I look up to the heavenly light
that I may feel peace
to remain here to survive
a sad plea for a lonely situation...
