Missing you Dad!

there`s a huge gap in my life

since the angels came for you

miss your strength and kindness

your laughter and wisdom too

there`s an empty seat at our table

one less mug when making a tea

a missing hand for a little grandchild

my heart feels sadly a more empty

such a big part of our family

a loving, kind and special Dad

our memories are so important 

remember all the great times we had

after all that you have achieved 

forever wear your wings with pride

you fought hard to stay with us

I know you`ll always be by my side
