Elegant Swan

you pad, you squawk

you slip and slide

but when you fly high, you glide

webbed feet steady

wings beating

barrel chested, thrusters ready

racing across the water`s surface

taking to the air

you`ve left ground base

tucking up feet

rhythmic wings beat

majestic swan has fulfilled 

an amazing feat!
