The Thunder Storm


There`s heaviness felt in the air
Darkening skies loom over head
The wind starts to become stronger
Filling the atmosphere with dread

Large droplets of rain start to fall
Crashing against everything around
From flowers, leaves, paths and concrete
There`s nothing to stop it hitting the ground

A rumbling is heard in the distance
Sounds much like a great beast growling
Suddenly lightning flashes brightly
The beast has started prowling

The sky has become very black
With the thunder getting nearer
As rain lashes, lightning flashes
The thunder sounds much clearer

Feeling the storm right over head
Fearing that flooding is on the way
Lightning and thunder simultaneous
This mighty storm seems set to stay.



We has a mighty thunder storm this afternoon, the sky became very dark and ominous
I really don`t light these types of storms.
