Motorways at night time
can be an eerie place
cars speeding through the darkness
racing on, leaving no trace
Heading into the distance
Red tail lights ablaze
streaking across the land
there`s no time for delays
With all the smells and noise
along the carriage way
electric coloured streams
leave patterns for a short stay
All through the night time
these bright lights race on by
leaving trails of coloured lines
that are spied by the eye
The landscape all lit up
with every passing car
speeding along the light way
travelling to places afar!
