Sleepy head pussy cat

Soft sweet bundle of fur
curled up in a tight ball
half hidden in green grass
only just visible

a hint of your breathing
and a twitch of an eye
as you snooze in the garden
wonder what you can spy?

you make hardly any sound
so deeply asleep there
an occasional stretch
then you sleep on without a care

snoozing all afternoon
to watch you sleep is fun
sleepy head pussy cat
slumbering in the sun
