Snowflake

though the coldest times

as the earth is covered in white
each individual snowflake
a wonder in it`s own right

so delicately fashioned
in many different designs
settling on everything around
against dark firs, each one shines

tiny details catch the sunshine
glistening of the wintry light
beautiful crystal patterns
each one is a glorious sight

they`re intricately crafted
by mother nature`s fair hand
to cover the earth in winter
creating a cold wonder land !
