Christmas Time

As Christmas is less than two weeks away
I find myself thinking of all the loved ones that have gone.
each one of them holds wonderful memories
enabling me to pick up the pieces and carry on

these memories have helped to build the person I am
and for that, I will always be eternally grateful 
now I hold them all deep within my heart
remembering each one as they stay faithful

so as this year`s festive season comes around 
and we indulge in all it`s wondrous pleasure
let us celebrate the great times that we had
and raise a cheer to the memories we treasure
