Time to Dream

After a day of making memories
with laughter and joy so deep
dream to hold onto and cherish

now it's time to settle down to sleep

all snuggled up and cosy in bed
remembering the events of that day
so wishing to still be back there
amongst the memories to stay

let the moon shine across it's path
and the darkness is all around
there's time to dream through the night
until once more the cockerel does sound !!
