Swan
sleek
elegant swan
with a
long
long
neck
seen
afar
across
the lake gliding
gently over the surface
while orange feet paddle
like pistons, out of sight
lord of the waterways
a stunning creature, great joy
to see, they pair for life, loyal and regal
for all to watch!
