Shimmering Moon
with setting sun over the ocean
skies ablaze with bright colours
oozing across undulating waves
as the tide moves with the hours
slipping slowly below the horizon
the sun silently leaves little trace
as the moon arcs across the sky
illuminating the oceans surface
every ebb and flow of the ocean
shimmers brightly through the night
peacefully passing over the world
tranquility under the moonlight
