Otters  (Lunrinae)

cheeky playful mammals

chattering as they go

weaving in and out of each other

such a strong family bond

sweet inquisitive faces

exploring every sense 

never straying far from their holt

protective of their pups

water loving mammals

like furry aquatic acrobats

with webbed feet they`re so at home

but feel safe in their couch

with lithe and slender bodies

life in the water is great fun

a menu of fish and invertebrates  

a perfect life for an otter!
