Pancake Day

 Pandemic pancake day

time to have fun in the kitchen

flour, bowl and wooden spoon

laughter heard as we all pitch in

worksurface decorated in white

mucky mess and smiling faces

with pan heating up on the hob

 batter mixed with airs and graces

excitement is felt all around

as the pancakes start to heat

sweet smells of lemon and honey

Come on everyone, it`s time to eat!
