Women of our World

Women play an important part in our world
their strength can be so misunderstood
weak and feeble bodies but hearts of steel
determination to do all they should

all walks of life are covered by women
from nursing, clergy, truckdriver and politics
CEOs to bomb disposal and so much more
 females are capable, not doing these for kicks!

however, motherhood beats everything
a life of selfless acts and sleepless nights
teaching, nursing, feeding and caring
but bringing up a family is full of delights

yet still basic rights many are lacking
in these modern times it`s a disgrace
women have a part to play in society
for they will flourish in every place!

so here`s to every daughter, sister, mother
granddaughter and all who come before
women will not be pushed backwards
strength with softness brings on a great roar!
