Motherhood

it`s an honour to call you "mum"

to know you loved and cared for me

held me close when life was hard

and instilled peace and tranquility

you guided me through early life

and set me on my next journey

yet I knew you were never far away

as I reached out for my destiny

as mother of the bride, you looked fab

fussing around on my special day

and when the grand kids were born

you were supportive in every way

you taught me all I needed to know

wonderful best friend, like no other

I`m so glad to be your daughter

and proud to have called you "Mother"
