Wintry Scene 

A deathly silence is felt

across an icy frost 

that covers this land

muffling all of nature 

grass like fur stands 

white against the light

frozen in this moment

all crusted in frost

this wintry scene 

in many hues of greys

covering this earth

causing the air to chill.
