Sad Farewells....

Why do you do this?
cause so much pain and hurt
treat me the way you do
then rub my face in the dirt

through thick and thin I was there
supporting your endevers
helped build up your dreams
encouraged your "forevers"

then over time you changed
with our world, you didn't bother
mooring slipped, you were gone
I had lost you to another

to this day it saddens me
but I still feel you in my heart
your journey's down another path
sadly, time for us to part!
