                               all frail

                                and brittle

                                single moment

                                in a frozen time

                               each one so different to the eye

                                   a work of sheer beauty

                             through the freezing, bitter cold

                               a piece of art in its own right

                                intricate patterns to be spied

through the bleakness of winter snow, ice and a blast of wind

        drifting down through the air, floating softly in flurries

                                  thus creating each snow flake glistening

                                    sparkling in the winter sun
