Stay on Track!

A life, a business
built up over years
a talent, a trade
blood, sweat and tears

with much hard work
heart felt desire
from cold dead steel
to art through fire

heart gets distracted
slowly over time
as goals slip away
it's almost a crime

wishing this to stop
and save what is here
hoping eternal
all remains next year
