Coffee & Cookie

Distant muffled music
heard in the background
not quite audible
but the beat is heard clear
clank of china cup on saucer
and a murmur of conversation
though not to far away
I still feel wrapped up in it all
aromas of coffee and cookies
waft across the cafe
perfect escape here
warm and cosy atmosphere.
