Missing the old you...

This silence is unbearable
you never say a word to me
for your eyes seem so full of pain
as you walk the path of misery

you were once a happy child
so full of the joys of youth
sadly those days seem far away
want to help, but need the truth

all I see is sorrow in your eyes
and your soul is full of pain
for you wear your heart on your sleeve
and around your waist a steel chain

would love to have you back with us
all happy and content once more
not sure if that will ever happen
but I`ll pray for that day, for sure!



Hate seeing people so sad when they use to be so happy......!
