Feelings from afar

lost souls sighing in the tide
waves splashing over the beach
a sadness is felt in the air
paradise is just out of reach

each grain of golden sand
has it`s own story to tell
images from far off places
that capture many a spell

distant calls heard on the breeze
carried voices from the past
wafting through the light blue skies
memories that will always last

sounds that merge in the mind
murmurs heard within the soul
filling the air with mysteries
unlocking senses as a whole
