This is such a hard day
to over come the sorrow
for you were taken from us
never to again the morrow
You were the light in my heart
the smile upon my face
holding me in your arms
I felt safe in our place
The angels took you away
never to return to me
never to see our future made
or our twilight years to see
I miss your hearty laughter
your sense of humour too
the way your eyes lit up
Steve, I really do miss you...!
