Tulips for me

A beautiful bunch of tulips

Standing on my table so tall

bright red cups pointing upwards

filling my room with pure joy

Light filters through these petals

Their scent fills the whole room

dark green leaves standing proud

complimenting every bloom

As time goes by the flowers open

showing off their awesome glory

releasing their fragrance more and more

before the blend into history

I love having fresh flowers in the house
